Breacla Showhome Opening a Huge Success for Northstone

Northstone’s much-anticipated showhome opening at Breacla in Lancaster was a resounding success, with dozens of eager visitors stepping through the doors to experience the new Sixteen20 four-bedroom home for the very first time.

The event at the weekend saw potential buyers, local residents and curious passers-by enjoy a warm welcome from the Northstone team and guests were also treated to complimentary hot drinks and sweet treats courtesy of Java John’s coffee cart, which added to the friendly, community-focused atmosphere.

The Sixteen20, which spans 1,620 sq ft, wowed visitors with its sense of space, natural light thanks to floor to ceiling triple glazed windows; and meticulous attention to detail in design and spec. The home’s symmetrical frontage, higher ceilings and Scandinavian-inspired interiors were praised by viewers, who were particularly impressed by the airy, open-plan layout and premium fixtures.

Visitors also had the opportunity to meet the Northstone team and learn more about the housebuilder’s approach to creating homes and communities designed for modern family living.

Anita Jolley, Sales and Marketing Director at Northstone, said: “We were thrilled to welcome so many people through the doors of our first showhome at Breacla. The response has been overwhelmingly positive; from the quality of the build to the style of the interiors, visitors told us they could really picture themselves living here. Lancaster has been so welcoming and this opening marks an important milestone as we bring our vision for Breacla to life.”

The showhome’s interiors, styled by designer Sarah Mather of Fig Home, were another highlight of the day. Sarah’s signature approach that combines elegance with relaxed, family-friendly comfort, perfectly showcased the architectural strengths of the Sixteen20 and gave visitors plenty of inspiration for how to make the space their own.

When complete, Breacla will feature 70 homes across 10 distinctive designs, offering something for every stage of life. Located on Scotforth Road at the gateway to Lancaster, the development combines style and sustainability, with triple-glazed windows, EV charging points as standard, and highly energy-efficient appliances, making it an attractive choice for buyers seeking a home that is as eco-conscious as it is beautiful.

Following the success of the opening weekend, the Breacla showhome and Sales Huddle are now open to the public every Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11am to 4pm.
