By The Light of Our Losses is a brand new art installation by award winning art studio idontloveyouanymore.
The artwork collects real losses from real people, handwriting each individual loss on an individual lightbulb. The artwork acts as an evolving elegy, a memorial to honour personal absences. Every loss you see here at Light Up Lancaster has been submitted by local Lancastrians.
If you would like to share a loss to the project you can do so via www.ourlostthings.com, an online portal documenting every lost thing submitted to the artwork, here you can find the hidden losses around Lancaster and read any further stories attached to these losses.
