Lancaster Fireworks Spectacular
Saturday sees a return of the fantastic firework display! Join us from 6.30pm onwards at one of our designated viewing areas to see this amazing display of light and music which will start at 8pm.

Below are the official viewing areas with information about each.
Situated behind St George’s Quay and accessed via the pathway behind the Wagon and Horses pub. You will be entertained by the cast of My Fair Lady from the Lancaster Red Rose Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society, plus Live performances from Solo Artist Danni B and some amazing fire performers! Food concessions will be available. This viewing area is mostly grassed underfoot and may be muddy and uneven so please do wear suitable footwear.
You need to have wristbands to enter this area. There is no parking at this location. Please arrive at this viewing area before 7.30pm.
The home of Lancaster Football Club and situated off West Road, this location has a great view towards the castle. You’ll be entertained by Lancaster’s popular Batala Band, alongside live performances from solo artist Michelle Lee, plus some incredible fire performers! Food concessions will be available.
Although this area is mostly grassed, there is some hard standing on this viewing area suitable for wheelchair users and we will be able to arrange parking for Blue Badge holders if you could kindly contact us prior to the event. There is no general parking here – we recommend that you park in the city centre carparks which are around a 10-minute walk away. Alternatively this location is very near the railway station.

This is a relaxed and quieter viewing location with stunning views across the city with the fireworks displayed against a backdrop of the Castle and Priory. The soundtrack will not be relayed over PA here, although there may be a short live performance during the evening. The Pavilion Café will be open all evening.
There is a small amount of accessible parking available in the ‘top’ car park (next to the shop/café and accessed via the Quernmore Road entrance). This viewing location has some paths and some grassed areas but please be aware there are some steep hills to navigate, especially if you park in the ‘bottom’ (Wyresdale Road) carpark.
You don’t need wristbands for this viewing area – just turn up.
Please note: The viewing areas are not under cover and may be muddy underfoot. Waterproofs and wellies are recommended!
Also please note that there is no official viewing from Salt Ayre this year, and the Lancaster Castle area will be closed off.

Pay and display carparks can be found throughout the city, although they may get very busy during the evening – why not arrive early and take some time to experience the fascinating Light Up Lancaster artworks and installations which will be displayed in the city centre from 5.30pm onwards.
